1. Information We Collect

When you request a quote, book an inspection, or contact us, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address, and details about the inspection you're requesting. If you're a licensed inspector applying to join our network, we collect professional information relevant to verifying your license and business.

We also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, through analytics and tagging tools including Google Tag Manager.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Match you with a licensed, independent inspector in our network for your property.
  • Schedule inspections and deliver inspection reports.
  • Communicate with you about your request, booking, or account.
  • Process payments for inspector memberships through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Improve our website and services, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
  • Protect our website from spam and abuse, including through bot-detection tools.

3. How We Share Information

We share the details of your inspection request with the independent inspector matched to your property so they can contact you, perform the inspection, and deliver your report. Inspectors in our network are independent business owners, not Inspect We Trust employees, and are bound by their own professional and licensing obligations.

We also share information with service providers who help us operate our business — including payment processing (Stripe), communications, and analytics providers — solely to provide those services on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our site and to measure marketing performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request deletion, subject to any legal or business record-keeping requirements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
