Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE]
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Inspect We Trust website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Inspect We Trust connects homeowners, buyers, realtors, and commercial property owners across Texas with licensed, independent home and commercial inspectors. When you request an inspection, we assign your request to a vetted inspector in our network to schedule, perform, and report on your inspection.
3. Independent Inspectors
Inspectors in the Inspect We Trust network are independent business owners, not employees or agents of Inspect We Trust. Each inspector is responsible for maintaining their own professional license, insurance, and compliance with applicable state inspection standards, including TREC requirements in Texas. Inspect We Trust sets shared standards, tools, and reporting requirements across the network, but the inspection itself is performed and delivered by the independent inspector.
4. Inspection Reports Are Professional Opinions
An inspection is a visual, professional assessment of a property's condition at the time of inspection. It is not a guarantee, warranty, or certification that no defects exist, and it cannot uncover every possible issue, including conditions concealed by weather, occupancy, finishes, or limited access. Decisions about whether to proceed with a purchase, sale, lease, or repair remain yours to make.
5. Payments and Memberships
Homeowner and commercial inspection fees are payable as agreed at booking. Inspectors who join our professional network pay a recurring membership fee, processed through our payment provider, Stripe, in exchange for access to InspectorPro software, AI tools, training, marketing support, and lead routing. Membership terms, including cancellation, are provided at signup.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inspect We Trust is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, or from the performance of an independent inspector. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific inspection giving rise to the claim.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
